The Austrian competition authority, BWB, has appointed Johannes Lukas, Nora Schindler, and Anton Hartl to new economic coordination positions within different departments. Their roles involve providing economic analysis and advice in relation to competition cases.

Johannes Lukas, with a background in economics, specializes in merger control and industry investigations. Nora Schindler, known for her expertise in empirical industrial economics, joins the BWB team to contribute to economic analysis. Anton Hartl focuses on assessing company mergers and market power abuse with his economic expertise.

The General Director, Natalie Harsdorf, emphasizes the importance of economic expertise in fulfilling BWB's tasks and expresses satisfaction in strengthening the authority's competence in economics with the new appointments.
