11.10.2024 | 🇵🇱 Polish competition authority
The President of UOKiK is inviting students and recent graduates in law, economics, administration, and management to participate in a thesis competition focusing on competition and consumer protection. The competition, running until November 29, 2024, offers financial rewards, publication in the UOKiK Library, and insights into the workings of the authority.
The competition accepts theses written in Polish or English, defended at Polish universities within specific timeframes. Topics include practices limiting competition, concentration control, public aid, unfair trading practices, and consumer protection issues. Submissions require a form, thesis copy, summary, university certificate, and for doctoral theses, two reviews.
Winners of the competition will receive cash prizes in different thematic areas, with the best theses being published in the UOKiK Library. The competition's partner is the Competition Law Association, with the Polish Economic Society as its patron.
