Over 130 entities have joined a social campaign led by UOKiK to raise awareness about fraudulent investments and scams, particularly those using the likeness of well-known individuals or companies without their consent.
The campaign, launched on World Consumer Rights Day, aims to educate consumers about the risks of high-profit, risk-free investments in currencies, cryptocurrencies, stocks, or bonds, often promoted through misleading advertisements.
UOKiK President emphasizes the importance of taking time to research, read, and ask questions before making financial decisions, encouraging continued participation in the campaign and sharing of knowledge.
Materials including videos, graphics, and information for radio, TV, online, social media, and public spaces are available for download on the UOKiK website, inviting further dissemination.
