The CNMC has approved a resolution setting the remuneration for electricity distribution companies in 2020 at 5.264 million euros, based on Circular 6/2019. The values have undergone two consultation processes, addressing objections and inspection-related claims.
The methodology established in Circular 6/2019 determines the remuneration for each company involved in electricity distribution in 2020, aiming to improve service quality and reduce network losses uniformly across Spain.
The resolution includes incentives for loss reduction and fraud prevention. Adjustments have been made for companies not providing sufficient justification for initially declared information. Additionally, there is a provision for remuneration adjustments due to the use of assets in activities other than distribution.
