The CNMC has approved a resolution to streamline the process for biomethane producers to connect their plants to the natural gas network efficiently and transparently. The production of biomethane in Spain, primarily linked to agricultural activities, has shown significant growth, with 9 connected plants producing 243 GWh in 2023, a 40% increase from 2022.
