In February 2024, the FTTH lines reached 15.6 million, with a monthly increase of 102,921 lines. Movistar accounts for 34.6% of the total FTTH lines, totaling 5.4 million, and has added over 310,000 new lines since February 2023.
The top three providers - Movistar, Orange, and Grupo MASMOVIL - hold 72.6% of the total FTTH lines.
Mobile telephony experienced a loss of 24,917 lines in February, ending the month with 59.5 million lines. Movistar, Vodafone, and Orange collectively represented 70.3% of the mobile lines market.
In February, 511,585 mobile numbers switched operators, a 1.3% increase from the same month in 2023. While overall Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) had a positive net portability balance, Movistar, Grupo MASMOVIL, Vodafone, and Orange had negative balances.
Additionally, in February, there was a net loss of 8,905 fixed lines, with 123,341 fixed numbers being ported, a 10.1% decrease from the previous year.
