The Slovenian Competition Agency has made a decision regarding the merger of MAVERMET d.o.o. and GENEDA International, stating that it does not meet the criteria set out in the relevant competition regulations.

The merger involves MAVERMET d.o.o., a company providing services, trade, and mediation, located in Šentjernej, and GENEDA International, an investment management company based in Maribor.

By concluding that the merger is not subject to the ZPOmK-2 regulations, the Competition Agency has essentially given the green light for the two companies to proceed with their consolidation without facing competition law obstacles in Slovenia.
