The Greek Competition Authority has approved the acquisition of exclusive control over the Attiki Odos highway by GEK TERNA S.A. The decision was made unanimously, applying the relevant provisions of Greek competition law.

The Authority concluded that the acquisition does not raise serious doubts regarding its compatibility with competition requirements in the relevant markets.

Prior to this approval, the Authority had granted GEK TERNA S.A. a derogation permit to proceed with the acquisition to prevent significant harm to consumers and public interest.
