The Competition Council (KP) will host a week-long event called 'Competitiveness' to highlight the significance of competition in various sectors, featuring public events, discussions, and presentations of research findings.

The week will include a presentation of a public opinion survey on competition policy implementation in Latvia, panel discussions on the role of competition in different industries like healthcare, cinema, tourism, sports, music, and journalism, as well as the annual Lawyers' Forum and a conference on the food industry in Latvia.

Additionally, there will be sessions where KP representatives will give lectures at major universities in Latvia to introduce students to competition law, economic analysis principles, and fair trade practices.
