The Belgian Competition Authority has given the green light to the acquisition of Holding Davo bv by Holding A&M BM bv following a notification by Holding A&M BM bv on 29 April 2024. Holding A&M BM bv is a business unit dedicated to the brands BMW and MINI and operates mainly in Limburg. On the other hand, Holding Davo bv controls subsidiaries Davo Tongeren bv and Davo Sint-Truiden bv, with branches in Tongeren and Sint-Truiden.

The transaction underwent a thorough investigation by the BCA, focusing on its potential impact on competition in the local markets for maintenance and repair of BMW and MINI vehicles. The analysis conducted by the BCA indicated that post-merger, there would still be ample alternative providers available for customers of A&M Invest and Davo, ensuring competition in the market.

As a result of its findings, the BCA determined that the acquisition does not pose a significant obstacle to effective competition in the Belgian market or any substantial part of it, deeming the concentration permissible.
