On May 24, 2024, the Board of Directors of the Competition Authority, using the powers conferred on it by paragraph d) of paragraph 1 of article 19 of the Statutes, approved by Decree-Law No. 125 /2014, of 18 August, decides to adopt a decision not to oppose the concentration operation, in accordance with paragraph b) of paragraph 1 of article 50 of the Competition Law, as it is not susceptible to create significant obstacles to effective competition in the national market or a substantial part of it.

AdC Approves Merger Between Finerge and Multiple Wind Energy Companies

The AdC has approved the merger between Finerge and Eólica da Arada, Eólica da Cabreira, Eólica de Montemuro, and Windminho, stating that the operation does not raise concerns about competition in the national market.
