On May 29, 2024, the Board of Directors of the Competition Authority, using the powers conferred on it by paragraph d) of paragraph 1 of article 19 of the Statutes, approved by Decree-Law No. 125 /2014, of 18 August, decides to adopt a decision not to oppose the concentration operation, in accordance with paragraph b) of paragraph 1 of article 50 of the Competition Law, as it is not susceptible to create significant obstacles to effective competition in the national market or a substantial part of it.

The Competition Authority, also known as AdC, has issued a non-opposition decision to the merger between Elcano Bidco and VivaGym. This decision was made on May 29, 2024, by the Board of Directors of the Competition Authority.

 The approval was granted under the powers conferred by the Competition Law statutes, specifically citing that the merger is not expected to create significant obstacles to effective competition in the national market or a substantial part of it.
