21.10.2024 | 🇳🇱 Dutch competition authority
All in Power's electricity-supply license has been revoked by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM), prompting the transfer of its customers to NextEnergy. These customers, including households and small-scale users, will now be serviced by NextEnergy under new contracts featuring dynamic rates.
Customers have the option to remain with NextEnergy or switch to another supplier after a 30-day notice period. All in Power's notification of impending bankruptcy raises concerns about customers potentially not receiving owed funds in full, although final bills will still be issued.
In the event of a license revocation, ACM follows a special procedure to ensure uninterrupted energy supply for customers. The customer database is temporarily locked to facilitate the transfer to a new supplier, with a fallback plan in place to distribute customers among other energy suppliers if necessary. This legislative measure aims to safeguard consumers from service disruptions and ensure continued access to energy.
