The Greek Competition Commission submitted its 2023 report to the President of the Hellenic Parliament, highlighting its rich and multifaceted work characterized by significant interventions in the country's economic life. The report was presented by the Commission's President and Vice President.

In 2023, the Commission issued over 20 decisions, including fines exceeding 40 million euros, significantly increased consumer surplus compared to previous years, conducted various merger assessments, on-site inspections, sector inquiries, and regulatory interventions in the distribution sector. Additionally, it conducted market mappings, compliance checks, and investigated possible obstruction of surprise inspections.

The Commission had an impressive international presence in 2023, actively participating in the European Competition Network (ECN), international bodies like the OECD, ICN, and UNCTAD, initiating numerous collaborations with competition authorities worldwide, sharing expertise, and utilizing advanced technological tools.

Furthermore, the Commission invested in public and business education by issuing two competition policy guides and organizing six conferences, demonstrating its commitment to promoting competition policies and fostering awareness.
