24.09.2024 | 🇱🇻 Latvian competition authority
The Latvian Competition Council (KP) is urging businesses from different sectors to take part in free educational online seminars covering topics such as cooperation between traders and buyers, supply contract establishment to ensure compliance with Competition Law (KL), and competition restrictions in the digital environment.
KP's experts share essential information to help market participants avoid KL violations, provide practical advice, present examples from Latvia and international practices, and address specific cases and audience-related questions. By 2024, nearly 2,000 market participants have already been educated through these seminars, with preventive education being seen as one of the most effective tools to prevent competition law breaches.
The upcoming free seminars include sessions on collaborating with manufacturers and suppliers, determining prices, discounts, and territorial restrictions in supply contracts, and identifying competition restrictions in the digital environment. The seminars will be held on various dates in October 2024 on the MS Teams online platform.
