According to the latest Household Panel by the CNMC for Q4 2023, 70% of users are satisfied or very satisfied with mobile internet and mobile telephony services, making them the top-rated services. Fixed internet connection follows closely with a 62.1% satisfaction rate.
Electricity and natural gas, traditionally the worst-rated services, have significantly improved in the past year, with a 30% increase in satisfied households.
The main reason for dissatisfaction with energy services was high prices, cited by 88% of dissatisfied households for electricity and 87.5% for natural gas. Lack of clarity in bills and service quality were also common sources of discontent.
Complaints from users decreased in 2023 across all services, with fixed broadband receiving the most complaints (9.8%), followed by natural gas (6.7%). Quality issues were the primary reason for complaints in fixed broadband.
The CNMC's Household Panel is a biannual survey gathering data directly from citizens on various sectors, including telecommunications, energy, and transportation. The Q4 2023 survey included 5,148 households and 8,601 individuals, providing valuable consumer insights.
