03.07.2024 | 🇬🇷 Greek competition authority

The Greek Competition Authority has unanimously approved the merger involving the change of control over two Greek software companies, Entersoft and SoftOne.

The Greek Competition Authority approved the merger involving the change of control over Entersoft and SoftOne, both operating in the IT sector.

Entersoft specializes in enterprise application software (EAS), while SoftOne operates in the same market segment.

The transactions include acquiring joint control over Entersoft and changing control over SoftOne.

Various companies from Luxembourg and Cyprus are involved in the transactions, impacting the ownership and control structure of the software firms.

The Competition Authority assessed the competitive conditions in the EAS market and its submarkets, concluding that the merger would not significantly alter competition levels.

As a result, the Authority found that the merger does not raise serious doubts regarding its compatibility with competition requirements in the relevant markets.
