The Competition Council (KP) is organizing a free webinar on September 3rd from 10:00 to 12:00, addressing competition law aspects essential for businesses engaging with other market players and ensuring compliance with the Competition Law.
The webinar will cover topics such as prohibited agreements, including cartels, with practical examples from KP's practice. Additionally, it will explain the Leniency Program and the benefits for businesses participating in it. The speakers will also clarify the permissible boundaries of cooperation and considerations for submitting joint bids in procurement.
Participants will receive insights on prohibited agreements, risks of violations, prevention measures, the Leniency Program's significance, benefits for companies, evaluation criteria for joint bids, and the KP materials like guidelines and self-assessment tools aiding daily work.
The webinar will be led by Ieva Šmite, Director of the Prohibited Agreements Department, and Maija Buša, Senior Expert of the Prohibited Agreements Department.
