The Competition Authority approved the acquisition of exclusive control by 'APOLLO CAPITAL MANAGEMENT L.P.' over 'IGNITE ROTATE LLC', 'IGT CANADA SOLUTIONS ULC', and 'EVERI HOLDINGS INC'. The decision was made unanimously in a meeting on November 12, 2024.

'APOLLO' is engaged in alternative asset management globally, while 'IGT Gaming' operates worldwide in the gaming and electronic gaming and betting sector. 'EVERI' is a gaming company providing technological solutions for cash access and electronic payments to licensed gaming operators.

The Competition Authority concluded that the transaction would not alter competition conditions horizontally or vertically. Therefore, it is not expected to change market structures, affect competition levels, or restrict competition.

Based on the above assessment, the Competition Authority unanimously approved the notified concentration under Article 8(3) of Law 3959/2011, as it does not raise serious doubts regarding its compatibility with competition requirements in the relevant markets.
